1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms apply to this website and the services made available through it. By accessing or using the storefront, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked from them. If you do not agree, do not use the storefront.
Homestead Haven is currently a demonstration, not a live merchant. The checkout does not charge a card, create a binding order or arrange delivery. The operator’s legal name, address and jurisdiction must be added before commercial launch.
2. Eligibility and account use
You must be legally able to enter into a contract where you live to place a live order. If future account features are enabled, you are responsible for accurate information, reasonable credential security and activity under your account. The storefront may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, the service or legal rights.
3. Product information and pricing
We aim to present useful product names, descriptions, dimensions, compatibility details, prices and availability. Gardening conditions and results vary, and product information may change. Read the manufacturer’s label, instructions, warnings and warranty before purchase or use.
Current product photography and catalog details are concept content for this demonstration. Before launch, each listing must be matched to the exact item and manufacturer or supplier record. Obvious typographical, pricing or inventory errors may be corrected, and affected shoppers should be offered a clear choice to proceed at the corrected terms or cancel.
4. Orders and acceptance
Placing a live order would be an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement would confirm receipt, not necessarily acceptance. Acceptance should occur only after the operator confirms payment authorization and availability. The operator may decline or cancel an order for legitimate reasons such as stock errors, suspected fraud, shipping restrictions or an obvious listing error, with a prompt refund of any amount charged.
Quantities may be limited fairly, including for scarce, regulated, hazardous or promotional items. Any material restriction should be shown before payment whenever practical.
5. Payment, taxes and promotions
The current demo does not collect card details. After launch, payment should be processed through the provider identified at checkout, and available methods, taxes, shipping charges and the final total should be shown before an order is submitted. You represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
Promotion terms, dates, exclusions and quantity limits control each offer. Unless an offer expressly says otherwise, promotions cannot be combined, exchanged for cash or applied retroactively.
6. Shipping, returns and cancellations
Delivery estimates, freight handling and delay procedures are described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Eligibility, exclusions, return shipping and refund timing are described in our Returns & Refunds Policy. Those policies form part of these Terms.
7. Reviews and other customer content
If reviews, questions, photos or other customer content are enabled, submit only content based on your genuine experience and that you have the right to share. Do not submit fabricated, copied, deceptive, abusive, unlawful or privacy-invasive material. Any incentive for a review must be clearly disclosed and may not be conditioned on a positive opinion.
You keep ownership of your content but grant the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, format and use it to operate and promote the storefront, subject to applicable privacy law. Content may be moderated for relevance, safety, fraud, unlawful material and these rules, but it should not be suppressed merely because it is critical. The current demo displays no customer testimonials.
8. Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the service, bypass security or access controls, scrape it in a way that creates unreasonable load, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, misuse checkout or promotions, infringe rights, or use the storefront for unlawful activity. Reasonable automated access for public search indexing and accessibility tools is not prohibited by this paragraph.
9. Intellectual property and third-party services
The storefront design, branding, copy and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws, except for material owned by suppliers, customers or licensors. A limited, revocable right is granted to use the site for personal shopping purposes. Third-party links and future payment, shipping or support services may be governed by their own terms.
10. Disclaimers and limits
To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an “as available” basis and without promises beyond those expressly stated. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable product, consumer-protection or warranty rights.
Any production limitation of liability must be tailored to the operator, products and governing law before launch. This draft does not attempt to waive liability that the law does not allow to be waived.
11. Governing law and disputes
The operator must identify its state of formation, governing law, service address and final dispute process before accepting orders. Any final provision should preserve non-waivable consumer rights and clearly explain whether informal resolution, court or arbitration applies. No arbitration agreement or class-action waiver is created by this demonstration draft.
