This storefront is currently a demonstration. Before accepting real orders, the operator must add its legal entity name, physical and return addresses, final vendors, jurisdiction-specific terms and working privacy-request channels, then have these policies reviewed by qualified U.S. counsel.
1. Our commitment and goal
Homestead Haven aims to provide a website that people with diverse abilities can perceive, operate and understand. The design and development target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This is a continuing goal, not a claim that every page or future third-party service has been independently certified or fully conforms.
2. Measures in the current storefront
The current build includes semantic headings and landmarks, labeled form controls and buttons, keyboard-accessible links and controls, visible focus styling, text alternatives for catalog images, responsive layouts, reduced-motion support and status text that does not rely on color alone.
Accessibility should remain part of content review, component development and release testing as live checkout, payment, customer accounts, reviews and support tools are added.
3. Known limitations
- Product photography and catalog data are demonstration content and require item-by-item alternative-text review when final supplier assets are installed.
- The demonstration checkout does not submit an order, and its production payment and address-validation services have not yet been selected or tested.
- No completed independent accessibility audit or assistive-technology conformance report is represented by this statement.
- Future third-party payment, chat, video, review or map tools may introduce barriers outside the current source code and will require evaluation.
4. Compatibility and testing
The storefront is intended to work with current versions of major browsers, keyboard-only navigation, zoom and common screen-reader combinations. Older browsers, unusual browser extensions or unsupported assistive-technology combinations may behave differently.
Before commercial launch, the operator should complete automated checks plus manual keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, contrast, form-error and mobile testing, then retest after material changes.
5. Feedback and assistance
If you encounter a barrier, email the contact below with the page address, the feature you were trying to use, a short description of the problem and—only if you are comfortable sharing it—your browser or assistive technology. Please do not include payment-card details or sensitive information.
The operator should acknowledge accessibility feedback, investigate it and offer a reasonable alternative way to obtain product information, complete a transaction or access a service while a fix is evaluated. A monitored phone or relay-compatible support option should be added before launch if telephone assistance will be offered.
6. Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing practice. This statement should be updated when testing is completed, standards targets change, major features are introduced or a known limitation is resolved. The date at the top identifies the latest published version.
